Operating System experience.
Objective:
This class is intended for students who either have time constraints or just want some basics so they can continue with self teaching. It will give students an understanding of the Rhino user interface and 2 D and 3D navigation tools. At the end of the class students will be able to create 2D geometry and make simple surface models.
Topics Include:
- Rhino Basics: Rhino for windows Interface, screen, menus, toolbars, graphics area, command window, entering commands, navigating around the model and move objects.
- Creating and editing Two-dimensional Objects: Drawing lines, freeform curves, modeling aids, model setup, saving your work, layers, and Deleting objects. Fillet, chamfer, move, copy, undo and redo, rotate, mirror, join, scale, array, offset and trim.
- Basic Surfacing: Planes extrude, revolve, rail sweeps and lofting tools will be discussed and practice to create simple surface models. Working with primitives as a modeling technique.
