Objective:
This course is designed to teach you the essentials of Revit MEP. You will: Create HVAC models; add Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems; work in the Revit MEP project environment with team members and linked files; Add and edit schedules; create views and construction sheets.

- Preparing HVAC Models for Design: Analyzing HVAC Designs; Creating Color Fills; exporting and importing gbXML data
- Creating HVAC Designs: Adding Mechanical parts; creating and inspecting Mechanical systems; Routing piping and ducts
- Electrical Design: adding Devices; creating Circuits; setting up Electrical Distribution Circuits; Light Families
- Creating System Piping: process for creating
- Creating Plumbing Systems: process for creating
- Creating Fire Protection Systems: process for creating
- Working in a Multiplatform, Multisystem Environment: Project Linking and Collaboration; monitoring Linked Projects; creating Worksets; creating Phases
- Coordinating Designs: Interference checking; coordination process
- Schedules: creating and editing; adding tags; VAV box schedules; light fixture schedules; Panel schedules
- Views and Sheets: creating plan, 3D, and Detail views; placing plan and section views on Sheets
