Microsol Resources and Solibri Agree to Form a Strategic Relationship to Advance the Use of BIM Technology

AutoCAD Land Desktop to be discontinued
Autodesk has announced that AutoCAD Land Desktop 2009 and the Companion version shipped within the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 package will soon be discontinued. Since the late 1990s, Land Desktop has been the design and documentation solution of choice for more than 100,000 civil engineering and surveying professionals around the world. So why the discontinuation? Over the past few years technological advances have led the way for AutoCAD Civil 3D and most recently AutoCAD Civil to be the most efficient surveying, analysis, design and documentation solutions for today's projects. Therefore Autodesk decided that Land Desktop 2009 is the final release of the Land Desktop product. Customers with existing Land Desktop subscription contracts will continue to receive subscription benefits (which includes support of current Land Desktop projects) through the end of their subscription contract.
