FM Desktop

FM DesktopFMDesktop™ provides facilities management tools that work with resources you already have: drawings, floor plans and data.

FMDesktop™ is easy to use, scalable, and much more affordable than more complex enterprise facilities management software solutions; yet provides a comprehensive set of desktop tools for managing drawings, data, and processes.

FMDesktop™ has five major components that allow you to deploy an FM solution that suits your specific facility management needs as outlined below:

Facility Manager™ is an MS Access application providing an Access, SQL, or Oracle backend. Facility Manager™ provides you the ability to manage all of your facility drawings and data in an easy to use database environment. No special CAD skills required to work with drawings and data.

Facility Link™ connects objects in your AutoCAD facility drawings to records in the Facility Manager™ database, providing a graphical interface to your facility data.

Facility Web™ provides you anytime anywhere access to your facility data and drawings. An easy to use web interface brings powerful features to even the most technically challenged.

Facility Request™ addresses a fundamental problem in a simple and elegant way: people all over your organization need an easy, intuitive way to submit work requests to maintenance managers and facility managers.

Facility Manager

Facility Manager is a powerful facility information management system. It provides the ability to manage all of your facility drawings and data in an easy to use database environment.

As an integrated facility management tool it gives you the ability to query, pan, zoom, print and share facility drawings and data without the need for complicated CAD software. It is fully customizable and uses the latest technology from Autodesk® to deliver drawing viewing and markup capabilities.

  • Import, Export, and Integrate
  • Point & Click Reporting
  • Create & Share Drawing Markups
  • Graphically Locate Anything
  • Real-World Intelligence

Manage Your Facilities Visually…

Facility Manager™ uses intelligent drawings incorporating real-world information. You can retrieve and edit selected data from any drawing, or from multiple drawings, querying your data for the information you need.

Use this information to display graphical reports, data-based reports, or export this information to a spreadsheet, a text document, or a variety of databases.

With FMDesktop™ software you can graphically display database information by generating color-coded drawings based on your criteria. Create reports to show vacant and occupied spaces, occupancy by department, project schedules and so on. The possibilities are limitless.

Power & Versatility…

Facility Manager™ brings drawings and data together in a way not possible until now, by integrating drawings, asset, and facility management information. It addresses key requirements for facilities managers by giving users more flexibility than stand-alone floor plans, databases or spreadsheets. The open architecture that is the foundation of Facility Manager™ makes it flexible enough to meet the needs of the many disciplines involved in facilities management

Facility Link

Facility Link provides everything facility management personnel need to create, integrate, maintain, and share drawings that store and display facilities information in a visual way.

Facility Link works inside of AutoCAD®, providing tools that help facility management professionals work more effectively. Connect objects in your facility drawings to records in the FMDesktop database, providing a graphical interface to your facility data. Facility Link utilizes a simple point-and-click interface to extend the properties of your drawing objects and turn them into a powerful facility management tool.

  • Effortless Database Connections
  • Edit Records Directly From AutoCAD
  • Dynamic Room & Equipment Tags
  • Powerful Graphical Tools
  • Locate Rooms, Equipment and Occupants

Manage Your Facilities from AutoCAD®…

With Facility Link a simple click of the mouse displays real-world information associated with the rooms and equipment in your facility drawings. Add, edit, query and delete database records directly from AutoCAD®.

Manage spaces, equipment and staff locations by simply selecting objects in your drawing. Facility Link takes the hassle out of database connections by maintaining a dynamic link between your drawings and data. Changes in the drawing are instantly reflected in that database. Database changes made outside of AutoCAD® are instantly reflected in your drawings.

Share Your Drawings and Data…

Facility Link reaches beyond the limits of AutoCAD® allowing you to share facility drawings and data with non-CAD users. Publish your drawings to Facility Manager, providing non-CAD users with the ability to manage all of your facility drawings and data in an easy to use database environment. As an integrated facility management tool, use Facility Manager to query, pan, zoom, print and share facility drawings and data without the need for complicated CAD software

Facility Web is a browser-based facility management system that is easy for everyone to learn and use. Even the most technically challenged can have access to facility drawings and data. The web interface and the easy to use tools even bring markup capabilities to your non-CAD users. It eliminates the need for additional development, minimizes the need for training, and controls costs by containing your investment in technology.

Facility Request

Facility Request addresses a fundamental problem in a really simple and elegant way: people all over your organization need an easy, intuitive way to submit work requests to maintenance managers and facility managers.

Using the Facility Work Request form, anyone with a browser and proper permission can request work to be done for a specific location.

Just fill in a few simple fields and submit the request to Facility Manager. A work request will be created in the Facility Manager database ready for the maintenance staff to process.

Facility Request
Streamline the Work Request Process…

With the Request Status feature, users can call up any work request previously submitted to check on its status. This saves time otherwise spent responding to phone calls from users wondering when work they requested will be completed.

You can also proactively keep your users up to date on what's going on in your facility. Customize Facility Request to add your own pages for facility news, emergency procedures, discussion groups, safety tips, job postings, etc.

Immediate Results...

The simple interface of Facility Request means less training is necessary for your users.

Because there is no client software to install, you cost of ownership is low. There is no need to troubleshoot, reinstall, or upgrade at the users desktop.

Increase productivity in your maintenance department by automating the request process and keep users up-to-date with work status and other useful information.
