AIA Continuing Education
System (AIA/CES)
Just one Microsol class can fulfill all of your non
Health, Safety, Welfare (HSW) requirements, so there
is no better time to learn a new skill or improve
upon those skills you already possess. Microsol is
a registered provider with the AIA
Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) and is committed
to developing quality learning activities in accordance
with the AIA/CES criteria. All of our programs meet
the AIA/CES criteria for quality level 3 instruction
and AIA members will receive 24, 48 or 72 learning
units depending upon which course they take. The number
of LU's earned will be reported to the CES by Microsol.
NY State now requires that every architect, to be
accredited as such in this State, take a total of
36 hours of Continuing Education courses every 3 years,
24 of which have to be on health and safety issues,
and 12 hours on "others". By virtue of Microsol
Resources accreditation by the AIA, some of our advanced
CAD classes qualify under "others". Please
check with the New York State Board for Architecture
for the specific class you are interested in.
